This problem is usually caused by a misconfiguration of the Access Map in the GoldenGate Administrator setup.

This error is also displayed when the database does not exist (or when the database name contains a typing error).


In the GoldenGate Administrator panel, click on the Access Map tab. You should see 2 lists on screen, Users (on the left), and Databases (on the right). Click a database and drag it to a user. You will then be prompted to give rights for this access. Once you have assigned all the access rights you needed for the users, click Apply.

You must then restart the GoldenGate server so that the changes are taken into account.
