Preventing the End-User License Agreement (EULA) from appearing when Reader is loaded
Product:Platform:Area:Version:
PDF Xtra for Authorware Windows Authoring 3.x

Summary

Important note:
Please make sure that you have the legal right to follow the procedure indicated below.
The solution involves editing the Window's Registry, which can be dangerous.

When PDF Xtra loads Adobe Reader for the first time, the End-User License Agreement screen appears. This can be prevented.

Example

By using an Xtra that can modify the registry (BuddyApi), you have to modify a key located in the following registry folder:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
     \Software
        \Adobe
          \Acrobat Reader
\4.0    (or 5.0 or 6.0, depending on the version installed)
              \AdobeViewer

The name of the key is "EULA". Set the value to "1", to prevent the Reader splash screen from appearing.
