Color correction - converting CYMK documents into RGB

Summary

Impressario supports PDFs that are created in RGB colospace, not CMYK. When CMYK documents are displayed by Impressario, the colors are not identical to the original. However, if you have PDFs that are already generated as CMYK, you can convert them to RGB so that they can be displayed by Impressario.

Solution

The following solution was recommended by an Impressario user:

1. Open the original PDF file (the CMYK version) in Acrobat.
2. Save it as an EPS file.
3. Then use Acrobat Distiller to create a new PDF in RGB color space.
