How to use snxStreamStatus() to create a progress indicator
Product:Platform:Area:Version:
SecureNet Xtra for DirectorWindows & MacDownloadsAll

Summary

When downloading a large file or performing time-consuming network operations, you can use SecureNet Xtra's snxStreamStatus method to retrieve the status of the network operation.

Solution

The sample movie Download Status, available below, demonstrates how to check the status of a download and create a progress indicator.

This Director 7 movie runs on Windows and in Director MX on Mac OS X.

On Mac OS 9, the total number of bytes cannot be read, so the #TotalBytes property is always equal to the #BytesSoFar property and the progress bar always shows 100%.

Sample

Download Status: this sample runs on Director 7 and later. zip   sit
