Removing Impressario's "Trial Version" splash screen
Product:Platform:Area:Version:
Impressario for DirectorAllLicense keyAll

Summary

When you run a movie or projector using the trial version of Impressario, a "Trial Version" splash screen appears to alert end-users that the Xtra has not been licensed for distribution. Users must click this screen to proceed with the movie.

Once you purchase a license from Integration New Media, you will receive an e-mail containing a full license key, which you must enter from within Director. Purchasing a license and entering your license key in Director is the only way to remove the splash screen.

Solution

To enter your full license key, and remove the "Trial" splash screen, first create an Impressario member. Then follow these steps:

  1. Double-click an Impressario cast member or sprite on stage, to open the Impressario Member Options dialog box.

  2. Click Enter Key, in the bottom right corner of the window.

  3. Enter the name of the license owner, the name of the company and the license key that is e-mailed to you upon purchase of the license. To avoid errors in typing, we recommend you copy/paste this number to this window directly from the e-mail.

This procedure only has to be done once and you will be able to create projectors, from the licensed workstation, that are legal for distribution
