How to change cursor from hand to arrow in overlaying sprites
Products:Platform:Area:Version:
Impressario for DirectorAllDisplayAll

Summary

With Impressario, you can place graphics and buttons on top of your Impressario sprites. The one consideration to be aware of is that, by default, when the user rolls the mouse over a button or any graphic sprite with an Impressario sprite beneath it, the cursor icon will remain a hand.

Solution

Luckily, there is an easy workaround. Simply place an empty on mouseWithin handler script on the button or graphic sprite; this will force the cursor to change to an arrow when the mouse is within that sprite.

on mouseWithin
-- empty handler to force cursor back to arrow
end
